Gobble gobble – November is here!
The cooler air seems to be sticking in Southeast Texas *fingers crossed* and November always brings the age old question: how soon is too soon to start decorating for Christmas, listening to Christmas music, and all of that?
Are you on Team “give the turkey his day!” or Team “it’s never too early!”
I’ve shown a huge amount of restraint by not listening to holiday music yet – but it’s coming! We love Thanksgiving too, but thankfulness and gratitude is something we try to practice and cultivate year-round in our home, making it easy to want to skip straight ahead to our favorite holiday!
While we’re waiting for all the jingle bells to start and the turkey to thaw, there’s plenty of things to do in Southeast Texas to fill your calendar in November! Fall fun, Thanksgiving festivals, and more! We’re looking forward to crisp mornings and cool evenings, dreaming of Thanksgiving dinner, practicing extra gratitude with our families, and a favorite yearly tradition of Friendsgiving.
What are some of your favorite November traditions?
